My name is Kylie Chinen.  I am 14 years old and have been skating for almost 4 years. I am in Freestyle 4, and I'm working on Preliminary Moves in the Field.  I'm also in the Artistry Group here and play the clarinet in intermediate band at my school.

My coaches are Asia Nakakura, Jennifer Jones and Therese Hayes who make skating really fun for me and something to look forward to every week.  I think skating shouldn't always be judged on what level you are, but by how much you enjoy it.  My favorite skater is Caroline Zhang.  I LOVE her passion for her routines and her flexibility on the ice.  I hope one day to be able to do the things she does.

Some things I like to do in my spare time is text my friends, drawing, stretching exercises, photography and listening to my ipod and relaxing with my cat, Muffin, and my dog, Max.
