Joycelyn Ng
Hi peoples! My name is Joycelyn Ng. I am 12 years old, in the 8th grade. I am in Freestyle 6 and Preliminary freeskate. My favorite coach is Kahi. She was my first coach ever!
I am currently working on my double salchow and double toe. I have landed them before and I lost it. It was only a quick spin anyways because I don't jump. I love to spin I am working on my beilman, making it have more rotations. I am also working on my flying camel. My favorite spins are all of the spins that I can do. My favorite jumps are axles to whatever double jumps that I can land every single time.
I enjoy skating, playing the violin, playing the computer and watching TV. Skating in Hawaii makes me feel special because not that much people skate in a tropical place like this!
I like being in shows and competitions because I get to wear my unique costumes handmade by my mom. I have competed in so many competitions, that I can even remember how much medals that I have!
I love to travel! I have at least traveled to ten countries. I like to travel because I can learn a lot of history and cultures of different places. In fact, I just came back from my trip to Florida with the school and to Vietnam with my family.
I will work hard to keep up my skating! Thank you for letting me be the "Skater of the Month"!
