Crystal Nguyen
Crystal Nguyen started skating in 2002. She is 8 and a half years old and is in the
third grade. She has passed Pre-Juvenile Freeskate, Juvenile Moves In The
Field and is currently working on her Axel and combination spins. She hopes
to land her first Axel this year although she feels that the Axel is her most
difficult jump to learn.
Besides Ice Palace Hawaii, Crystal also skated at Disney Ice, CA and Mountain
View Arena in Vancouver, WA. She competed in the ISI Winter Classic at
Disney Ice last year and earned third place.
Crystal also plays piano, and dances ballet with the Queen Emma Ballet. Her
other hobbies include going to the movies, playing with skating friends on
public ice and watching TV.
Favorite jumps and spins: Flip, Loop; Scratch and sit spin.
Favorite places: Disneyland, Legoland.
