Alyssa Takatsuki
Alyssa Takatsuki is 16 years old and will be a junior at Iolani School in the fall. She
started skating when she was 4, following in the footsteps of her two olders sisters, Tricia
and Shara. Aly, as most people call her, is a gold medalist in Ice Dance and Moves in the
Field. She has competed in several regional competitions for freeskate and at sectionals
and nationals for ice dancing with her former partner, Jonathan Ige. Although she has
decided not to compete, she is working on her junior freeskating test. Besides ice skating,
Aly enjoys cheerleading and is on the Iolani Varsity Cheerleading Squad. She also likes
dance, gymnastics and theater and was in several school plays.
