Directions to Ice Palace rink from Waikiki
- It is about 11 miles from Waikiki to the rink (See
overview map)
- Get onto Kuhio Ave or Kalakaua Ave going toward Diamond Head (east)
(See map).
- Turn left at Kapahulu Ave (fronting the zoo).
- Follow Kapahulu Ave going north for about two miles.
- At the north end of Kapahulu, stay in the 2nd from the left lane, go under the
freeway viaduct. Kapahulu Ave bends to the left almost 90 degrees. Go
straight through the large intersection at Waialae Ave.

- Stay in the same lane as before. It will take you to the H-1 Freeway entrance
going west.
- Stay on H-1 for four or five miles. Watch for signs to Hwy 78 and Aiea.
- Remain in one of the three leftmost lanes, take EXIT 19B which will put you on Hwy 78.

- After you have passed the Red Hill exit (Exit 2), you will start up a long hill
(for Oahu :) ). Stay in the far right lane as you approach the top of the hill.
You will exit Hwy 78 immediately after the crest of the hill. Don't change
lanes as you go over the hill. You will be following signs to the Stadium.
- Take the Stadium - Halawa - Camp Smith exit (Exit 1E
)(See map).
Stay in lane. Do not take H-3.
- After the first light, move to the left lane.
- At the second light, turn left onto Kahuapaani St.
- Again at the second light, turn left onto Ala Alii St (cross street is Ala Alii St to the left
and Mananai Place to the right). You can see the end of the rink building from
this intersection. It is on the left side of Kahuapaani St.
- At the stop sign, turn right
- Go straight into the parking lot of Stadium Mall. The rink is the large building
on your left.

Allow 25-30 minutes during normal traffic; 45-50 minutes during rush hour.
